This workforce planning training is delivered by leading experts in strategic workforce planning and is aligned with the CIPD Profession Map. It takes an evidence-based approach and uses case studies of strategic workforce planning models.

What you’ll need to do on this course

This workforce planning training course has four online learning sessions delivered over four weeks. Each learning session is three hours long. The course includes self-directed learning on executing the plan and adaptive planning. We encourage you to participate in peer learning and preparation work such as pre-reading, MOST Analysis exercise, SWP maturity questionnaire and data sets. You should allow for 10 hours of learning over the duration of the course.

What you’ll get on this course

At the end of this course, you’ll receive a certificate. Taking part in this course gives you access to the CIPD Learning Hub for 12 months. Here, you can access your course content together with other valuable resources and tools. When you finish your course, you can enjoy an additional 12 months of access to other resources on the Learning Hub.​
