What to expect from this ‘evolving L&D practice’ course

This development programme will inspire and equip you with the insights and ideas you need to transform your L&D practice, supporting you to handle the challenges of training and development in human resource and management and an evolving work environment.

This course has been designed by the CIPD learning team, including Andy Lancaster, Michelle Parry Slater, Giorgia Gamba Quilliam and David Hayden, with additional insights from expert Phil Wilcox. This learning and development programme draws on applied research, core learning theory, neuro and behavioural science. You’ll challenge myths, explore current research, and apply your learning to your day-to-day role.

What you’ll need to do on this course

This is a three-week programme where you’ll participate in nine hours of formal virtual classrooms. You will also need to do self-directed learning – this should take around 10 hours.

You will also have the chance to reflect and apply what you learned to your organisation between each session.

What you’ll get on this course

You’ll receive a resource pack before your first session, which will include core research and reports you’ll need to familiarise yourself with before the course begins.

At the end of this course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.

Taking part in this course gives you access to the CIPD Learning Hub for 12 months. Here, you can access your course content together with other valuable resources and tools. When you finish your course, you can enjoy an additional 12 months of access to other resources on the Learning Hub.
