You'll build a practical toolkit for turning AI into a reliable working partner: applying tested prompting frameworks to get consistent, high-quality results from any AI tool, and shaping outputs so they carry your own voice rather than sounding generic. You'll also learn how AI agents can help automate routine tasks and keep output quality consistent over time.

In parallel, the course puts this into practice across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to development and offboarding. You'll write and refine prompts that tackle the kinds of real tasks people professionals face day to day, with feedback at every step, so you leave with hands-on experience you can apply immediately back in your role.

What you’ll need to do on this CIPD ‘AI for HR: in practice’ course

This is a half-day virtual live course. You'll learn through facilitated online lessons, hands-on activities and real-world scenarios covering tasks people professionals face across the employee lifecycle. There is no preparation required prior to joining the sessions, but you will need to have access to the internet and a laptop (or any equivalent device).
