What to expect from this ‘AI for HR: fundamentals and in practice' course
This facilitator led one day course brings together the content of our 'AI for HR: fundamentals' and 'AI for HR: in practice' courses, giving you both the understanding and the practical skills to start engaging confidently with AI at work in a single session.
You'll start by building a solid foundation: getting familiar with the core building blocks of AI, including machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and generative AI, so you can speak confidently with your team and stakeholders. You'll explore how AI is already being applied across the employee lifecycle, working through real world scenarios AI is already creating in HR, such as handling AI generated CVs or navigating grievances submitted with the help of AI, alongside the ethical considerations and policy decisions this raises for your organisation.
With that grounding in place, you'll move into hands on practice, writing, testing, and refining real prompts with facilitator feedback at every step. You'll build a toolkit for turning AI into a reliable working partner, applying tested frameworks to get consistent, high quality results and shaping outputs so they carry your own voice. You'll put this into practice across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to development and offboarding, so you leave with both the conceptual grounding to navigate AI's challenges in HR, and hands-on experience writing effective prompts for real work scenarios.
